We work with senior leaders who carry real accountability for complex delivery in public and private sectors, and within highly regulated industries. These are environments where significant investment is committed, scrutiny is constant, and the consequences of delivery stalling are felt across the organisation in missed milestones, eroding confidence, and value that takes years to recover. We help leaders and teams move forward differently, with clarity about what matters, alignment around how decisions are made, and momentum that turns effort and ambition into outcomes that are visible and trusted. That is what complex programme delivery looks like when it works, and that is what we help you build.
Built on real delivery experience
NuPace is led by Stuart, whose experience was shaped over more than a decade at Sellafield Ltd, where he held senior roles across engineering, innovation, and programme delivery with strategic responsibility for major enterprise and digital programmes across the organisation.
That means he has sat where you sit. Accountable for delivery when investment is committed, scrutiny is high, and progress has to be demonstrable at the most senior levels. It is that experience, carried personally rather than observed, that shapes how NuPace works. The wider team we bring to every engagement holds the same standard, with backgrounds spanning engineering, digital transformation, organisational change, and programme leadership.
We work inside the programme, not outside it
We are not a traditional consultancy and we do not arrive with frameworks and leave you to implement them.
We work alongside you, inside the programme, making sense of what is happening, pinpointing opportunities, identifying what is getting in the way and focusing effort where it will actually move outcomes. In practice that means clarifying what matters most and making sure it stays clear, aligning how decisions are made and where they need to land, simplifying structures that are creating drag, and making sure effort turns into progress that is visible and trusted.
No additional process, no documents that will just sit in a folder somewhere, no theory for its own sake. Just practical work that helps delivery move.
What strong delivery programmes have in common
Across the environments we have led and supported, a small number of conditions consistently separate those that make real progress from those that stall.
Clarity of Purpose
A shared understanding of what needs to be achieved, established early and kept alive. When this slips, everything else gets harder and the programme starts to carry misalignment it was never designed to hold.
Alignment of Supporting Systems
Decisions made in the right places, with the organisation genuinely moving in the same direction. Actively maintained across leadership, teams, and partners, not assumed. Stakeholder management is live and ongoing and change management leads progress rather than being added as an afterthought.
Momentum towards Outcomes
Effort that consistently turns into capabilities delivering the target outcomes and benefits, with progress visible and trusted by the people who matter and credible enough to withstand scrutiny at the most senior levels.
These are the conditions that determine whether a programme delivers. We help create and sustain all three, and when something is not moving as it should, assessing where each one stands is always where we start.
The right expertise, when you need it
Where additional specialist support is needed, we draw on a trusted network of professionals across programme delivery, engineering, digital, and organisational change. The right expertise is brought in at the right time, without adding layers your team has to manage. Your existing teams are supported rather than displaced, and delivery stays the focus throughout.
What this looks like in practice
When programmes are shaped and supported well, the difference is tangible, not just in delivery pace but in the confidence of the people leading it. Working with NuPace has helped programmes accelerate delivery timelines by 15%, protect or bring forward £10M+ of programme value, and give leadership teams a credible, evidence-based story to tell at the most senior levels, with stronger foundations for future investment and commitment.
