Enabling senior leaders to deliver complex programmes to convert ambition into delivered outcomes
Our experience spans Civil Nuclear, Energy, Defence, Utilities, and National Infrastructure. We work in the complexity, not around it, bringing clarity to delivery, pace to decisions, and a clear thread from effort to outcomes that holds up under the most demanding scrutiny. Programmes that are set up well do not eliminate uncertainty; they build confidence within it, and deliver the outcomes they were designed for.

What becomes possible when programmes are designed to deliver
A selection of programmes NuPace and its founder have delivered across civil nuclear, energy, green technology, and maritime sectors.

How we read the health of any programme
The patterns that cause complex programmes to fall short are consistent. They show up across every sector we work in, and they are recognisable early when you know where to look.
We look at three conditions: Clarity of Purpose, Alignment of Supporting Systems, and Momentum towards Outcomes. When all three hold, programmes deliver. When one weakens, the others follow. That is the lens we bring to every engagement.
How we work
We do not arrive with a plan and ask you to fit around it. We start by understanding what you are trying to deliver, the context, the pressures, and what is genuinely getting in the way. From there we work inside the programme, not outside it, until delivery is moving and the leadership team has what it needs to keep it that way.
We work across three levels of engagement: Guide, Drive, and Embed. The right fit depends on where the programme is and what it needs. What does not change is the commitment: the same depth of experience, the same standards, and the same focus on outcomes at every level.
We have carried the same accountability as the leaders we work with, in some of the UK’s most complex and highly regulated environments, and know what it takes to keep complex programmes moving.

Frequently asked questions
What is a programme?
A programme is how organisations deliver new capabilities that change a business, which are too important, too complex, and too interdependent to manage any other way. If the outcome matters, involves multiple workstreams or stakeholders, and needs to hold together under pressure, that is a programme.
What types of programmes does NuPace work with?
Programmes where the investment is significant, the scrutiny is real, and the consequences of not delivering are felt beyond the immediate team. We work across public and private highly regulated sectors, typically in technical environments where delivery must stand up to regulatory and executive scrutiny.
When is the right time to bring NuPace in?
When something feels harder than it should, or it is difficult to visualise the way forward, when the team is working hard but the outcomes feel no closer, or when the conversations above the programme are starting to change in tone. The sooner the better, but we have come in at most stages of a programme’s life and find the right place to start.
How does NuPace typically engage?
Every programme and client’s challenge is different, so every engagement is shaped around what it actually needs. We start by understanding the context, the pressures, and what it will take to move things forward. From there, the scope of our involvement is determined by what will genuinely make the difference: whether that means working alongside leadership for a defined period or embedding more deeply with the team until delivery momentum is established and the programme can hold it.
Do you deliver or advise?
Both, but the focus is always on outcomes. We are not here to produce a report and hand it back. We work alongside the leadership and teams inside the programme until progress is real and visible, and the people leading it have what they need to keep it that way.
What makes NuPace different?
We have carried this accountability ourselves, in these environments, at this scale. We know the difference between advising on a programme and being responsible for one, and that changes how we see the problem and what we do about it.
What size of programme does NuPace work with?
Programmes with significant committed investment where the cost of not delivering, in time, value, or credibility, is real. The common thread is not budget or headcount, but the weight of what is at stake: the change or ambition that needs to land and sustain.
